Our approach to the ITAD process is designed to make things as easy as possible for you while also ensuring you get the most value out of your retired assets to help fund your next tech refresh.

We handle the entire device retirement process from start to finish. We offer turnkey packaging and logistics: you don't need to box, wrap, palletize, or move anything; we will package and transport all of your equipment to our secure warehouse. Once it's there, our NIST SP 800-88r2 compliant data sanitization lab ensures proper data destruction for storage devices ranging from legacy IDE and SCSI drives to SATA, SAS, and Fibre Channel media, in both 512 and 520 block sizes.
Once properly sanitized, our asset refurbishment and dedicated resale departments work to ensure your refurbished tech sells for as much as possible. Any media that instead requires physical destruction is securely destroyed, tracked, and responsibly recycled under our R2v3-certified system.
To put it simply: we remove the old computers from every school in your district, securely remove all sensitive data from them, then refurbish and resell them. If they can't be sold, we responsibly recycle them. All you do is tell us when and where.

Vantage Point ITAD's Commitment to Sustainability
E-waste represents one of the fastest growing global waste streams, and we are doing our part by refurbishing tech for re-use or ensuring that it is recycled responsibly.
Anything we can't repair and resell is handed off to our recycling partners under our R2v3 Certified management system which means we maintain oversight until the equipment undergoes final material recovery.
Our Process
De-Installation & Logistics
Our centralized location enables us to pick up equipment within 24 hours of an initial request for most locations. Once we're there, we pack your equipment, load it, and securely transport it to our warehouse. Whether you have one location or hundreds, we orchestrate the entire transportation process.

Data Destruction & Sanitization
Data bearing assets are sanitized in accordance with NIST SP 800-88r2 standards to ensure that zero sensitive data remains. If desired, we offer on-site physical drive shredding.
Once all sensitive data has been removed from the drives, assets are moved to our fulfilment department to be resold. We utilize a combination of retail and bulk sales to help you get the highest return so you can fund your next technology refresh.

Recycling & Reuse
Every device that can't be reused is transported to our qualified downstream recycling partners under our R2v3 Certified management system to be reduced to recyclable materials and reused.
